Once you are done with the sign up process, you’ll be asked to fill out a short form providing us with some basic details of your requirements. We’ll review your and finalized them with your in 1 – 3 business days. If everything looks good we’ll immediately look through our database and job boards for a suitable candidate. All-in-all, it typically takes around 2 weeks for us to have 3 prime candidates who’ve passed our screening process.
We exclusively search for Virtual Assistants who operate out of the Philippines. It is one of the highest ranked nations in the world for outsourcing and has excellent English and literacy scores. Many entrepreneurs already employ hundreds of thousands of VA’s all across the Philippines for a wide array of tasks and work.
We will attempt to find a VA that is available to work during the shift you specify after signup. It is however easier to find a quality VA if you’re willing to have them work your night time (their daytime). Either way, many VA’s are custom to working at night and the final working hours will be negotiated between you and your VA.
Any discussion about when they’ll work will be between you and the VA and we recommend it be discussed in the interview process to ensure there is no miscommunication down the road.
Our goal is to find a VA who already has some experience in the industry and skill-set that you’re seeking. As such, we do not train or manage the VA. If you are looking for a VA to be trained and managed, we do offer such a service with our parent company, SupportNinja.
Hiring a VA pays generally in the range of $5-$7 per hour for a full-time position. But this will vary depending on the role and responsibilities the candidate will take on. In addition we recommend you consider paying for their internet cost (typically around $20/month) and covering any payment transfer fees.
A full-time position is just the same as it is in the U.S. with an expected 40 hours per week. We recommend you check-in with your VA to ensure they can work the full-shift and are able to find enough time to sleep between shifts if they have other responsibilities outside of work.

Bilingual individuals are available in the Philippines but they are often quite difficult to find and often charge more. For the simplicity and ease of our service we currently only search for persons who are proficient with their English communication.
Most VA’s have good English communication and are comfortable taking calls, however you’ll want to discuss this in the interview process and review any requirements that will require them to make or take calls. You’ll also need to set up or pay for a VOIP solution if it requires them to have a phone number or make outgoing calls.
We recommend using PayPal or TransferWise as the primary methods of payment. Remember to never pay your VA upfront, only after the work is completed.
In this instance, the VA will be working exclusively for you as a contractor.
Our extensive recruitment process has us matching the skills, experience and knowledge with your requirements. In addition we manually screen, test and do a background check on the candidate prior to handing them off to you for the final interview. It’s very rare for this to happen, but regardless, we offer a 10 Day Guarantee, meaning if you are unhappy with your selection we will restart the recruiting process and provide you with another set of 3 candidates for the job.
We always recommend that you practice good security practices with your VA. This means sharing information only that you feel comfortable sharing, and building up a relationship of trust over a period of time. It is best to withhold tasks that require you providing sensitive information until you have built a level of trust with your VA and they have the same (with regular, on-time payments from you).
